What are Denture Implants?
Denture implants, also known as implant-supported dentures, are a modern solution for patients who need to replace all or most of their teeth. Unlike traditional dentures, which rest on the gums, denture implants are anchored to dental implants placed in the jawbone providing improved stability, comfort, and function.
These dentures can be either removable (snap-on) or fixed, depending on your preferences and bone structure. They are especially beneficial for patients who find traditional dentures uncomfortable, unstable, or difficult to chew with.
While traditional dentures rely on suction or adhesive to stay in place, denture implants are securely supported by 2 to 6 implants per jaw. This allows for better bite strength, speech clarity, and bone preservation.
