STEP 1

First Contact:

When patients contact MCAN Dental, they are immediately connected with a medical expert who reviews their information, medical history, and recent X-rays (if they have any). The expert, along with the dentist then creates a customized treatment plan.

STEP 2

In-Person Consultation:

Upon arrival in Turkey, an X-ray is taken and and patients have a face-to-face consultation with the dentist. As a result of the X-ray and the consultation, final treatment plan is created and based on the patient's needs and desires.

STEP 3

Preparations:

Any remaining teeth may be extracted before the procedure, and any existing dental issues such as infections or gum disease are treated. This is important because dental issues affect the procedure's effectiveness, success and longevity.

STEP 4

Implant Placement:

After applying local anesthesia, implants are placed in the jawbone via a small incisions. Typically, two implants are angled towards the front of the mouth, while two are placed in the back for the optimal support.

STEP 5

Final Checkup:

Before leaving, patients receive a check-up at the clinic. The dentist asses the final X-ray result to check implant's condition and overall situation. Patient's are informed regarding the healing process, other sessions and aftercare.

STEP 6

Healing Process:

Implants need time to integrate with the jawbone, this happens generally within 3 months. During this period MCAN Dental's multilingual nurses closely monitors patients' progress, give aftercare instructions and guide them through.

STEP 7

Final Placements:

Once integration is complete, patients return for dental crown placement. A new X-ray is taken, the condition of the implant is assessed and preparations are made for the crown.
